As part of its efforts to develop shelters and improve the lives of displaced people, SAFE completed a significant project in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, replacing 60 dilapidated tents with new ones in the Al-Qubba camp.
This project, implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and with financial support from the Korean government, responded to the urgent needs of families whose previous tents had deteriorated and were no longer able to withstand the elements.
The organization emphasized that this step primarily aims to strengthen the resilience of Palestinian families and provide a safer and more protective environment for children and women during the winter. SAFE also stressed its continued relief efforts to cover as many tents as possible that require repair or replacement in light of the current crisis.
