The Gaza Society for Sustainable Agriculture and Friendly Environment (SAFE) is a Palestinian non-profit, non-governmental organization, registered with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior under No. 7233 since 2002 and headquartered in Gaza City. SAFE works where emergency response meets long-term recovery. Its programming spans four strategic areas — WASH and Shelter; Food Security, Livelihoods and Economic Recovery; Health and Nutrition; and Protection, Education and Community Support — with gender equality, inclusion, environmental sustainability, climate resilience and accountability to affected populations built into every intervention. SAFE is a member of the Shelter, WASH, Food Security, Education and Site Management Clusters, and was rated low risk in a HACT micro-assessment conducted in April 2026 by Moore Stephens Insight on behalf of UNDP.
