As part of its ongoing efforts to support families facing dire economic circumstances, SAFE in partnership with the Holy Family Church and with funding from World Central Kitchen, implemented a food parcel distribution project targeting 200 families in need in Gaza City.
This humanitarian intervention aimed to alleviate the daily burdens faced by families affected by poverty, displacement, and limited access to basic necessities. The food parcels contained a variety of essential food items such as rice, pasta, beans, chickpeas, tomato sauce, juices, canned goods, and baby food, ensuring that the needs of all family members were met.
The distribution took place at a time when the Gaza Strip is experiencing worsening food insecurity and soaring prices for basic commodities. Beneficiaries expressed their deep gratitude for this urgent assistance, which not only provided food but also brought a sense of care and solidarity.
This project reflects the commitment of SAFE and its partners to respond to the urgent needs of affected families, while preserving their dignity and strengthening community resilience amidst ongoing crises.
