Announcement from SAFE

The Board of Directors of the Gaza Agriculture and Environment Association announces the convening of the General Assembly's Ordinary Meeting for the year (2026) on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Association's headquarters located in Gaza – Al-Saraya – Municipality Collection Street – Abu Shaaban Building – opposite the headquarters of the Palestinian NGO Network. The meeting will discuss the following agenda:

1. Approval of the Board of Directors' report on the Association's activities during the years (2023, 2024, 2025)

2. Approval of the financial report submitted by the Board of Directors for the years (2023, 2024, 2025)

3. Approval of the report of the statutory auditor for the years (2023, 2024, 2025)

4. Appointment of a statutory auditor

5. Election of a new Board of Directors for the Association for a term of (4 years) (2026-2030)

The following procedures must be completed before commencing the election of a new Board of Directors. As follows:

1. All members of the General Assembly who joined during the two years (2022-2023) are obligated to settle the financial obligations due to the Association for the previous years (2023, 2024, 2025) in addition to paying the subscription fees for the year (2026) in accordance with the Association’s bylaws. Any member will be prohibited from exercising their right to nominate, vote, or participate in any of the General Assembly's procedures unless they have fully settled their financial obligations and paid all outstanding dues to the association. This period will run from Tuesday, April 28, 2026, until the end of the workday on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

2. Membership registration for new members and payment of annual dues for the year 2026 will be open from Tuesday, April 28, 2026, until the end of the workday on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

3. Nominations for membership on the new Board of Directors for a four-year term (2026-2030) will be open from Wednesday, May 6, 2026, until the end of the workday on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

4. The period for appeals and objections will be open from Sunday, May 10, 2026, until the end of the workday on Tuesday, May 10, 2026. May 12, 2026

5. Any objections or appeals will be addressed within one day only (Wednesday, May 13, 2026) after the objection period closes.

6. The withdrawal period will be open for one day only (Thursday, May 14, 2026).

7. The Election Supervisory Committee will commence its duties from Monday, April 27, 2026, until Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the aforementioned association headquarters, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
